WHAT IS REFLEXOLOGY?
Reflexology is based on the premise that there are zones of reflexes in the whole of the body which correspond to and are relative to all parts, glands and organs of the entire body.
Manipulating specific reflexes removes stress, placing the body in a parasympathetic healing state, enabling the disharmonies to be released by a physiological change in the body. With stress removed and circulation improved, the body is allowed to return to a state of homeostasis. Reflexes are worked according to the body: alleviating stress is the first priority, followed by improving circulation and then attention is paid to reflexes relative to any disharmonies in the body.
MANY CONDITIONS BENEFIT FROM REFLEXOLOGY
With regular treatments, the reflexology practitioner can help to normalize the affected areas of the body. As certified reflexology practitioners, we do not claim to cure, diagnose or treat any specific condition but rather support your health and well-being. Reflexology can work in total harmony with other methods of treatment and should be considered not as an alternative but a complementary therapy.
